Each pupil in Burrator Class was handed ¬£5 at the start of the week and given the challenge of working as a team to generate a profit from their money at the school Enterprise Fete. ¬†Teams had to present their ideas to their fellow pupils and persuade them that their idea was the best. ¬†In the end, each group came up with a range of imaginative ways of generating income which included games, silent auctions, tombola, nail painting and transfer tattoos. ¬†Pupils spent the week preparing their stalls, buying good and contacting local businesses asking for donations of prizes for the event. ¬†Friends of St Mary’s (FOSMs) also supported the event with a variety of stalls and a bouncy castle.
