Meldon’s Christmas Story
Children heard ‘A Shepherd’s Tale’ as part of a workshop at the Abbey Education Centre. The story retold the real meaning of Christmas, as seen through the eyes of the shepherds.
Meldon’s Nativity
Meldon Class performed their ‘Wriggly Nativity’ for parents and carers in the school hall. All of the children, including pre-school pupils took park by singing a number of songs and some children had learnt lines to retell the Christmas story.
Meldon’s Fire Engine Visit
Meldon Class enjoyed a visit from some local fire fighters and their fire engine, as part of their ‘People who help us’ topic. The children particularly enjoyed hearing the siren and seeing how water from the hose helps to put out fires.
