Fernworthy, Burrator and Venford Classes have all prepared learning afternoons. The children shared their learning through teaching others about what they have recently learnt. Fernworthy ran a Roman afternoon, where they demonstrated a Roman battle march and even had also had special Roman food to try! Invaders and Settlers

Fernworthy Class have been learning all about Invaders and Settlers.  As part of this history topic, pupils replicated Anglo-Saxon weaving techniques.  The class also attended an Anglo Saxon workshop at Buckfast Abbey’s Education Department, which involved studying a range of artefacts.  Pupils celebrated their learning at the end of the topic by baking Anglo-Saxon bread… Read more »

Meldon’s Train Trip
