To raise money for FOSMs, the cake sales have continued this term as a way of raising additional money for school funds.
Pupils from Burrator Class organised and ran a Christmas extravanganza this year. There were a number of stalls including ‘jolly jars’, lucky dip, cake decorating, Christmas gifts and bric a brac. The Easter raffle was extremely popular this year, helping to raise money for St Mary’s. Many thanks to everyone who took part in the raffle and congratulations to the winners!
FOSMs organised and ran a very successful Christmas Fair in our new school hall. A number of stalls sold seasonal gifts, along with a performance from the school choir, Scholastic book fair, craft activities, refreshments and a visit from Santa in his grotto. A successful book fair was held in the school library, which proved to be very popular with parents and pupils. Over £70 was raised in commission, which was used to buy a new selection of books for the school library.
