Violin lessons

Fernworthy Class are participating in violin lessons each week this term.  The pupils have already impressed the music teacher with their enthusiasm and hope to perform something for the whole school at the end of term.

Eden Project

Fernworthy class launched their Amazon project with a trip to the Eden Project in Cornwall.  Pupils explored the biomes, participated in workshops about the wildlife and plant life in the rainforest and learnt about the importance of recycling.

Scarecrow Competition

During the Easter holidays, pupils were invited into school to create a scarecrow with the theme of ‘Grow well, eat well’. As you can see from the fantastic scarecrows produced, there were some excellent ideas generated during the morning. Body Language Festival Artwork

Cop Cards

Pupils at St Mary’s are participating in the Teignbridge council initiative called Cop Cards.  Local community police officer, Tamsin Cambell-Mosely visited the children to launch the sticker albums.  Stickers can now be obtained from any uniformed police officer, Police Community Police Officer or Special Constable in Teignbridge.  The officer will ask a question and if… Read more »
