Recycling Day
Pupils from Venford took part in a recycling day where they learnt about why it is so important to recycle materials. Activities included model making and creating recycled paper from wood pulp.
St Mary’s Choir
The school choir has attended a number of community events and residential homes. The choir were able to wear their newly printed t-shirts for these occasions. Peace Child
Pupils performed ‘Peace Child’ at the end of the summer term. The story revolves around the far away land of Mambica, where two opposing tribes eventually discover peace through the gift of a new-born child.
Trip to Stover
Pupils enjoyed a trip to Stover Country Park, where they took part in a range of different ecological activities during the day and learnt about the some of the conservation work that is taking place.
