Ash Wednesday

The whole school community came together for our Ash Wednesday liturgy which was led by our older pupils and Father Christopher. Ashes were distributed to everyone and each pupil also had the chance to write their own Lent promise. These were later displayed on the Prayer Wall outside the school hall. Ash Wednesday

Buddy and Peer Mediator Training

Along with pupils from a number of other primary schools locally, three of our lunchtime ‘buddies’ and ‘peer mediators’ attended training at Stover School to offer support and fresh ideas in their lunchtime roles. Harvest 2015

Burrator class led a Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Buckfast Abbey. Biscuits, bread, soup and cakes were prepared by pupils and sold after school in aid of CAFOD’s Harvest Appeal. Families from St Mary’s also donated food items for our local food bank in Buckfastleigh.
