Fernworthy Class enjoyed an afternoon finding out about how members of the school community have celebrated Christmas around the world in different countries. Festivals and Celebrations

Holy Week Activities

Divali Day
The whole school participated in a multi-cultural day based around the Festival of Divali. After a whole school assembly, each class participated in craft, cookery, musical, art, literacy and dance activities to deepen their understanding of this festival and the culture that surrounds it. Peace Child
Pupils performed ‘Peace Child’ at the end of the summer term. The story revolves around the far away land of Mambica, where two opposing tribes eventually discover peace through the gift of a new-born child.
