Venford have had a very busy term with their F..f..freezing topic and creating lots of writing and a dance relating to this topic. They even enjoyed a visit from a real polar explorer!

Pupils have worked on some cookery activities and practised their measuring skills following maths sessions on measurement. In maths the children have also been working hard on developing their understanding of number and on addition and subtraction.

Reading challenges have been given this term to really boost the children’s reading at home and in school. Carolyn Kennett from the Devon Library service was on hand to advise parents at our recent Parent Pupil Progress Meetings and also worked with the children on selecting books from our library on World Book Day.
