Pupils from St Mary’s took part in a pilot for the new International Tree Foundation resources,  called ‘Tree Power 2: Healthy Food, People and Planet’ which involved learning about sustainable, forest friendly and healthy food production and consumption.  The project took an investigative approach to discussing questions such as:

  • Are there any ways in which food can be improved and made healthier? How might this be achieved? What can we do in our school, home and community?
  • Are there ways to reduce food waste?
