Reading groups

Reading ambassadors

This year pupils in Key Stage 2 have been invited to take part in the Rainbow Reading Challenge. Each pupil works their way through a bookmark by completing ten reading sessions with an adult. There are seven bookmarks in total, which represent each colour in the rainbow. Once all seven bookmarks have been completed, pupils can then become a reading ambassador. Reading ambassadors help younger pupils to read and choose library books and can also help to select new books for our school library from the Devon Schools Library van when it visits each term.
